Overview
The Masai Mara National Reserve is considered to be the grandest game reserve in Kenay and indeed one of the top ones in Africa. The reserve is about 1530km2 and is located in the South Western part of the country in the Great Rift Valley.nya in Rift Valley.
Masai Mara is home to the great wildebeest migration that sees millions of wildebeest and zebras cross over from the Serengeti through the Mara river into the Masai Mara to look for greener pastures.
Mara Simba Location
The Mara Simba lodge is built overlooking a bend on the bank of the Talek, a tributary of the Mara River. The lodge design puts a lot of emphasis on comfort and being exclusive. When they were coming up with the design, they had in mind that it would compliment the surrounding and also decorated using Masai themes.
Mara Simba Lodge Accommodation
The lodge has a total of 84 guest rooms. The rooms have been arranged in clusters of 6 set in natural wood and stone Banda.
Of the rooms here, 4 rooms are located on the ground floor and two interconnecting rooms on the first floor that consist of sixty twin rooms, 12 double rooms, 4 double+single and eight triple rooms.

Mara Simba lodge offers its guests cuisine that will delight your taste buds. The meal times at the lodge are as follows

- Lunch – Between 12.30pm and 2.30pm
- Dinner – 7.30pm and 9.30pm
